There’s some debate over whether PS Plus Premium offers value for money, but it’s getting weaker as Sony continues to extend the selection of software available with its most expensive subscription. One thing that’s inarguable, however, is that new PS5 owners can get an absurd amount of content with the membership – especially if they’re new to the ecosystem.
This leaked bundle makes a lot of sense then: official product images spotted by Twitter user ZubyTech appear to show a disc-based PS5 console with two years of PS Plus Premium included. At the time of writing, that’ll get you access to 948 games, excluding any future additions – including the trio of monthly PS Plus Essential games that get added at the start of every month.
Assuming PS Plus continues to improve – and based on last week’s comments, that definitely appears to be the plan – then it may be difficult to argue against the value of this bundle. We’re not entirely sure how much it’ll cost yet (or whether it’ll be available globally), but the boxart suggests these pictures are coming out of Germany.
We’ll contact Sony and see if it has plans to release this package worldwide. In the meantime, let us know if you think this bundle makes sense in the comments section below.

That’s the right kind of bundle.
I’ve said it on PX that I’m surprised MS hasn’t done bundles with 6mnth GP etc
I follow Zuby Tech on Twitter too. He's really good at breaking down PlayStation's business strategies.
This deal should have been for the disk-less version only
@Nacheis So the digital PS5 should compete with the normal one? 4d chess move. Microsoft are not competition so Sony has to think outside the box
@PsBoxSwitchOwner if you get a Xbox thru the All Access Program it comes with 2 years of Game Pass Ultimate. That was how I got mine. You save about 20 bucks on the Series X and about 30 on the Series S using the All Access Program. They delivered mine within 2 days.
@Triumph741 nah, more like Sony would prefer to take as much of the profit as possible so pushing the digital edition with good deals helps hook more people in, especially with 2 years of premium.
Makes sense. Once people claim 72 games from this they’ll be pretty much locked into Plus and the PS ecosystem. Amazes me they haven’t done it before.
@Nacheis "This deal should have been for the disk-less version only"
Why?
Was looking for a bundle to buy for my son for Xmas and this looks like a good one! Hopefully releases in the UK
Oh, wow. That tagline is top ten material. Bravo! 😂
Curious about the price. I don't know about the conversion but US that's $500 + $120 + $120 = $740 so if it's $599 that's nice as 2 years of PS+ Ess, which is REQURIED for online, though not for F2P games like Fornite, would be $620. so even if you don't want Premium you're still getting a tiny savings on PS+Ess.
But since we don't know the price, what's there to talk about?🤷♂️
Would be a great holiday bundle
@PixelDragon I just think Sony would be better off pushing the digital edition more, they make a higher percentage of cash from a digital game sale and are much more likely to trap someone in the eco system with ps+ services and digital sales.
Not a bad bundle for the new gamer. As long as they don't manipulate inventory to require the bundle seems like it would be a good value if the pricing is close to normal.
Where's that discless model and external drive though? Did it get Switch Pro'd?
sony might be using this opportunity to get rid of old stock... why? slim model reveal is imminent.
@Nacheis
Maybe, trouble is digital edition PS5's are still pretty much unavailable in the UK.
@PixelDragon yeah it's almost as if Sony don't believe in their online storefront
@Nacheis this is why you're not the ceo of the leader of the video games industry.
@NotSoCryptic thanks Jim 👍🏻
I'd like a PS2 Mini, mhhhhhmm check please!
@Boucho11 it’ll probably be 6 months PS Plus in UK 🤣 Well hopefully not
@PsBoxSwitchOwner Xbox technically has had their all access model for years. It’s technically the opposite: sign up for a couple of years (I think) of game pass at a small markup and get an Xbox “for free” so long you don’t stop the payments. It’s kinda like getting a new phone from your carrier without buying it, in fact I think phone carriers are among those selling the all access Xbox thing.
Technically you just save a few bucks, but it is not the same to pay 500 in one sitting than splitting it over 2 years.
It'll just be the same cost 🤷♂️ hard to find a bundle these days that isn't just the cost of all the bundled items added together
That's a great idea for new PS5 owners - gives them access to a huge back catalogue.
I would have loved something like this when I first got my PS4!
