Just bought Shadow Warrior and Sniper Elite 3 for €8 in total in the latest PS Store sale. Honestly pretty good deals for these two games. I'm looking forward to giving them a go in the future.
Just bought Hat in Time for a bargain £8 on Amazon (not that price anymore unfortunately). Quite surprised to find out it also includes one of the two pieces of dlc, shame not both but one is better than nothing.
@LtSarge Sniper elite 3 is very good. Are you a trophy hunter? I think @colonelkilgore also has that game and there are some multi player medals required for the platinum and they can be privately boosted with 2 players, however one of them needs 3...I'm happy to help if required.
No pressure from me as I already have the platinum although the colonel might come knocking. 😂
@CaptD Unfortunately, I'll probably won't bother with the trophies in this one since I don't really play multiplayer in games anymore (except for Nintendo titles). It'll probably also take a while before I get to the third game since I still need to play V2.
Coincidentally, I've been watching people play Sniper Elite 3 multiplayer and it looks like a ton of fun. So who knows, I might change my mind in the future.
@CaptD I do have 3 (A Hat in Time too but am yet to play it)… doubt I’ll ever end up playing it though. As much as I loved 4… I’ll probably just end up playing the series from that point onwards than go back… cheers for the call out though 🫡
Lol just saw @LtSarge’s post. Never say never I guess 😅
@BearsEatBeets No I haven’t, like you say it looks like a nice relaxed playthrough after something more intense. Back in the 90s these types of games would be every 3rd game I played 😂
@LtSarge I’ll definitely be playing it at some point if you ever need a boosting partner 👍
@BearsEatBeets After noticing this weekend that Broken Sword 5 was only $0.99 in the current sale, I looked it up on YouTube to see what it was like. I noticed a playthrough video on there that was just short of 7 hours, so I'm assuming it should be right around that for playtime. So, in other words, you are likely right about it being a relaxing quickish game.

@HallowMoonshadow Oh wow, that’s great! I’m so glad you found it helpful. It’s been a couple years so I had to go back and read it myself in order to remember what I’d said about it. 😅 That motivates me to write more reviews. There’s something really fun about going back and reading one’s own review years later after the initial excitement of the game has passed and the memory of it has dulled.
I’ll certainly be interested what you think when you get around to playing VC4. I never went back to do the post-game content, but I definitely enjoyed the game.

@AgentCooper Me too, I think I played every LucasArts game of this type they made (which was quite a few). @KilloWertz That sounds about a nice sweet spot for runtime.
My Sonic Origins Plus PS4 copy arrived way early and the Game Gear and Amy are not on disk but on DLC code that worked with my original digital version. No new graphics option have been included.
Still there are some more says till the official release.
@belmont Unfortunate, but somewhat predictable in this day and age. I wonder if it was the same situation with regards the Sonic Mania Plus physical release? I only ever had that game digitally but, even without buying the upgrade, the new Metal Sonic boss got patched in a week early.

@RogerRoger With Sonic Mania Plus the DLC was in the disk, at least in the PS4 version. With Mania I didn't preorder but I randomly saw the game in store in a local retailer many days before the original release and got it. I guess the same thing happened now
@belmont Yeah, games considered to be retro or budget tend to have leakier street dates. At least you're two for two on these 2D Sonic games! Wonder if you'll make it a hattrick and get Superstars early?
It's a shame Mania got all of its extra content on the disc, whereas Origins hasn't. I was wondering whether I'd be tempted to shell out for the inevitable "complete" version of Frontiers but, if this is the direction SEGA has chosen, I'll be able to save myself from double-dipping.

Hmm, my latest purchase would be Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate. It's a fantastic fighter, but the old PS4 fan doesn't like it. Gets very loud. Thankfully the second hand copy I bought came with an unused PS5 upgrade so once I have invested in a second Dualsense I'll transfer it. In the meantime I can continue to play couch MP on the PS4.
