Topic: Your Latest PlayStation 5 Purchase

Been meaning to do it for a while but finally just did… preordered the Final Fantasy XVI steelbook. Think this could be one game that I play at release… maybe.

Had a CEX voucher lying around for months, as my bday is approaching soon decided to use it and have just ordered a copy of Disgaea 6 Complete (PS5) because I do love me that Netherworld grind.

Just bought Jedi survivor and Dead island 2. Loving both in their own ways

Looking at the days of play sales, I have 3 games I'm interested in, but only will pick up one for now. Sniper Elite 5, Tiny Tina's Wonderland, or Sonic Frontiers. Anyone recommend one over the others?

@Elodin I’d be interested in giving SE5 a go, never played the series but heard good things. Can’t see how much it is without going on my PS5, what’s the price?

Will be interesting to see how you and @Elodin get in with Sniper Elite 5, as I know some people really like them. I played the 4th game, and enjoyed it upto to a point but eventually found it a bit samey and drifted away from it.

That could be a me problem though, as it happens with a LOT of games I play. 😑

@JohnnyShoulder I watched a bit of gameplay and he was killing everyone with a pistol from about 10 feet 🤔 if I wanted to do that, I’d just go to the local supermarket.

I got Aliens Fireteam Elite for £15, had half an eye on it for a while. Gunna give it a blast tonight!

Bought the Final Fantasy VII Remake: INTERmission DLC earlier this week. I was always planning on buying it when I was done with the main game but it's on sale now, so I've at least saved some money by buying it now.

I also bought Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom for €10. It takes up a fair amount of space on Switch so I decided to get it on PS5 instead. It seems like a fun game!

Pre-ordered Final Fantasy XVI. I also picked up Monster Hunter Rise on a whim. Not sure when I’ll get to it, but it was on sale.

I pre-ordered Lies of P last night. I haven't finished the demo but I'm already sold enough to warrant a day one purchase. Hopefully Round8 can iron out some of the bugs and issues within the demo in time for release as I really think there's a lot of potential here.

So I just saw that Forspoken was on sale again in another store and this time it was €20, so I figured now is a good time to grab it. I played the demo and thought it was really fun, so I'm definitely looking forward to giving it a go!
