About The Game
Battlefield™ 2042 is a first-person shooter that marks the return to the iconic all-out warfare of the franchise. In a near-future world transformed by disorder, adapt and overcome dynamically-changing battlegrounds with the help of your squad and a cutting-edge arsenal.
At the eleventh hour, there’s no time to hesitate. As class-based combat returns in Season 4: Eleventh Hour, rally your squad and dominate on an arid, rocky South African battlefield ideal for close-quarters mayhem. Deploy as Recon Specialist Blasco and use her X6-Infiltration Device to block enemy spotting. The CAV-Brawler vehicle will get your squad into the fray while the compact, stockless Super 500 will rack up the close-quarters kills. Operate as an elite unit – and be a class above.
With support for 128 players on PlayStation®5, Battlefield™ 2042 brings unprecedented scale on vast battlegrounds. Players will take on several experiences comprising elevated versions of Conquest and Breakthrough, Battlefield™ Portal; a new community-driven platform where players can create, share and discover unexpected battles from Battlefield’s iconic past, present and future, and Battlefield™ Hazard Zone; a tense, squad-focused survival experience where every bullet, every skirmish, and every decision counts.

I think I will end up buying this but this is not a day one or even a month one for me, all the other I have purchased day one or week one. No campaign just hurts for me is all, Id start a day out on campaign and then go online. Also I would consider buying sooner if it was priced at $50, but $70 no not at all.
I’m predicting for this game, 6’s & 7’s, mainly cos it’s a full online experience with nothing else to offer. It’s EA and DICE and if history tells us anything their launches are not good. So pushquare whenever you release your review, I’m expecting a 6/7. I will not be buying this. Unless the reviews blow my mind and they end up being surprisingly positive of which they won’t. Vanguard v Battlefield 2042, sorry, VANGUARD wins even before release.
